The first time Kelly Levesque met Diane Warren, feels like yesterday. " I had just been signed to my first record deal and they brought me to the best songwriter, Diane Warren, to listen to songs. I remember being in complete shock when meeting Diane, who wrote so many of the songs that were influential in my singing life. I remember walking down the hallways of Realsongs, Diane's company, and just feeling honored to be there and so excited to meet the woman whose song melodies and lyrics were second to none.
I always knew from a young age that singing was my passion and my heart. I was blessed to grow up in a household where my parents were beyond supportive and loving. The first recording I have is me at 3 years old singing "Jingle Bells". My father owned a post production studio in NY when I was growing up, so the studio and recording became my second home. My first professional job was at the age of 7 singing a Golden Books children's album. Throughout my teen years I was hired for a lot of jingle, voice over , and theater work, but didn't pursue the record industry until I graduated high school. Thats when I met Diane....

Kelly's first release was in 2001, with the Diane Warren penned song "Some Hearts" on the motion picture "Americas Sweethearts". Kelly has also toured the world and has performed with such artists as, Russel Watson, Paul Potts, Eric Benet, Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli. She was also in the trio "Three Graces" who had a top ten classical crossover album in the US. Kelly has worked with some of the best producers in the industry such as David Foster, Desmond Child, Walter A, Guy Roche, and Trevor Horn.

Diane Warren called me about 2 years ago and asked me what I was up to. At that time I was in the group "Three Graces" and had just finished at 23 city tour and was about to perform for the Pope the following week. Diane told me about the project , Due Voci, and said I can give you 2 months to decide if you want to do it and OF COURSE I wanted to be a part of it but was under contract. Luckily and sadly, three weeks later, Three Graces came to a quick end, and I called Diane and said "I'M IN"!! My career started with Diane Warren songs and I am so thrilled to be a part of "Due Voci". In Due Voci, I get to work with the greatest female songwriter of all time and sing the greatest love songs, it doesn't get any better than that!

I was born and raised in Canada, the youngest of two boys and the son of hard-working folks. We didn’t have much but we did have love and we had the support of parents who would stop at nothing to encourage our talents.

From my earliest recollections I remember my mother working two, and even three jobs just to make ends meet. I can say I was truly blessed from those humble beginnings to have parents who not only loved, but believed in us. My mother saw the music side in me and did everything she could to encourage me. My dad, the athletic and strong figure, got us boys involved in sports, and we played most everything --- basketball, volley-ball, soccer, and baseball, but with a particular emphasis on football, my dad’s sport of choice. My folks took us everywhere and anywhere, trying to help us reach our dreams, and constantly pushing ahead even when I’m sure they had no energy left.

Music has always been a huge part of my life and what I’ve always loved doing most. To think that I could, through a song, bring a smile to someone’s face, a spring to their step, or renewed courage to their heart is for me, the greatest joy in the world. I am blessed with the countless opportunities and doors that have opened since I first stood on that stage as a 5 year old boy to give a performance that would ignite something in my heart and become the beginning of a long and exciting journey. A dream had been born that day. And with every dream comes a journey of joy and struggle. It’s not been an easy road and, for me, the fact things have not come easy has been one of life’s deepest blessings, for it has taught me what it means to persevere, to have faith, and to keep moving forward no matter what forces seem against me.

My heart was always to sing. And so I sang in choirs, musicals, pageants, government functions, symphony orchestras, music festivals, major sporting events, you name it. Each step prepared me for the next. I was invited to play the lead role in the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic musical, Oklahoma.

I owe my most recent leg of my journey to David Foster who, after hearing me sing, invited me to perform ‘The Prayer’ with rising star, Charice Pempengco at the David Foster & Friends Charity Fundraiser, and then again later to perform with Katherine McPhee. To be affirmed by the hit-man himself, David Foster, was unbelievable and made the past years of hard work and hanging tight to that dream, so very worthwhile!

But little did I know this was just to be the beginning. When David Foster later introduced me to Diane Warren…. The Diane Warren… the absolutely greatest songwriter and hitmaker of all times… and someone I’d held in highest esteem over the years…. well, all I can say is I have yet to come back to terra firma. I sang for Diane Warren at what was undoubtedly my toughest audition yet. She loved what she heard, offered me the greatest opportunity ever to become a part of Due Voci, a romantic duo with the amazing Kelly Levesque, and the rest is now history.
